It was such an honor to get to know Michael. He was an extraordinary "Man". He met many challenges in his life and he faced them with courage, hope and faith. He was blessed to find his soul mate to share all the love he had, his sweet love, Monica. They have such a great love story! For many in this world never find the love that she and Michael shared. Even if it was, just for 15 years here on this earth, it was an eternal love that and can never be taken from either of you. Monica you have been an angel here on earth to watch over Michael the way to you did until he took his last breath as you held him in your arms close to your heart where he wanted to be encircled by your love. Michael you will never be forgotten!
Michael you also loved your Tata so much, you made sure that everyone knew that, it seems that you didn't take long to go and be with him. You told me just how much you loved to always spend time with my Tio Chuy, working on cars, in the yard or whatever he was doing. May you rest now Michael from the cares of this world. Thank you for touching our lives, Michael, you were an amazing Man!

I worked with Mike at Winchester, and I am very sadden by the untimely passing of such a wonderful young man.. He always spoke so highley of his family, I will never forget how proud he was of his family.. He will always be remembered.. My prayers to the Leon family...God Bless

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Michael,
I remembering growing up with you, our huge family get togethers and our cool cousin Michael with the camaro. I remember when you took me and my brothers trick or treating in the back of your truck and making sure we got our pillow cases full of candy. You never letting us take pictures of you, and that laugh. We have so many memories of you and my family, and all of us cousins. You will always be in our hearts and may you rest with tata in peace and no longer in pain. May your memory never fade, may you live forever in the hearts and minds of your aunts and uncles that helped raise you and help shape the man you became. May your dad,brothers and sister find peace in the love you all share.

Michael my son and friend life will not be the same without you.Your insight about life was very special and I miss our conversations.It's rare to find true love like you and Monica have, We will always be there for her.

Michael, I've known you since you wore diapers. We still have the picture of you posing with Santa Claus at Christmas time. Even though we haven't seen much of you the past few years, you will still be missed greatly by your Nana, all your Aunts, Uncles, Brothers, and Cousins.

Michael my son, I have loved you from the moment they placed you in my arms. Our lives have been so full of turmoil but all that is over now. You are at peace with your sister and your beloved Grandpa, Savana and your animals. My memories of you will be your wonderful sence of humor, your love for your animals and the unconditional love you found with Monica. I will try my best to help her and watch over her because I know that is what you would want.
