Myrna Bowles Obituary

BOWLES, Myrna L. (Gaines), was born in Kansas on July 22, 1927 and went to join the Lord on June 25, 2009. She lived an exciting life abroad in Libya, Egypt, Greece and Singapore while raising her children. Myrna worked at University Medical Center in the Histology Lab prior to retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bowles. Survivors include three daughters, Julie Wiens (Ron) of Tucson, Lisa Loepp (Dean) of Kansas, Roxie Carbonell (John) of Tucson, and one son, J.B. Bowles (Robyn) of Texas. Also survived by eight grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Her family, her friends and her church were all very important to her. Special thanks to June of June's Touch of Kindness, and Peggy, Mary Beth, Carla and many more of TMC Hospice, and Peppi's Place. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at Christ Community Church, 7801 E. Kenyon with interment following at East Lawn Palms Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to TMC Hospice, 2715 N. Wyatt Drive, Tucson, AZ 85712.

Diana is housebound and unable to get out to buy a card but she wanted to express her sympathy to the family and her gratefulness for being informed about Myrna. She has missed their contact the past few months.
