Nelouise STAPP

STAPP, Nelouise (nee Hodges) passed away at Copper Canyon Care Center in Tucson on July 12, 2017. She was born February 18, 1921 in Pratt, Kansas. She attended Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas (1943) and Northwestern University (1949). She was married to Ray V. Stapp from 1951 until Ray's death in 2000. They lived in Lindsborg, KS, Edinboro, PA and Charleston, IL before retiring to Denver, Co. Nelouise moved to Tucson in 2002. She mentored numerous piano students and was a dedicated church organist and choir director. She is survived by two sons, Eric Stapp of Tucson and Paul Stapp of St. Paul, MN. She also leaves three grandchildren, Jessica Stapp of Tucson, Jay Stapp of Portsmouth, NH and Peter Stapp of St. Paul, MN. She also had two devoted step-grandchildren, Jennifer Sherwood of Bothell, WA and Christopher Sherwood of Renton, WA.
