Patricia Perry Obituary

PERRY, Patricia Lynn 7/9/1945 - 7/3/2017 passed peacefully in Arizona where she resided most of her life. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Sara and Roy Burton Jr. Pat graduated from the U of A with a degree in Interior Design and worked as an interior decorator in various setting including owning her own business and retiring from JCPenney. Pat had a passion for hand crafting, she knitted many a baby blanket, created and sewed endless Halloween costumes, hand made her own wardrobe, crafted Christmas decorations, and taught anyone willing to learn. Pat enjoyed being with her family and friends and was often traveling, camping, and hiking around the United States. She is survived by her children, Mark Perry (Molly) and April Spencer (Travis), her sister, Gina Burton-Hampton, her nieces, Wendy Austin (Scott) and Rose Powell (Rob) and nephew, Casey Burton-Hampton as well as grandchildren (2) and grandnieces and nephews (9). For the last 10 years, Pat has been fighting many illnesses that have taken the best of her. We are thankful she is no longer suffering and can finally be in peace. Memorial Service is at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Christ Presbyterian Church located at 6565 E. Broadway Blvd.

Gina,so sorry to see Pat's obituary. We will be out of town Saturday but our thoughts will be with you and your family. I have many happy memories of my friendship with Pat and I remember your mom always calling her Patsy. Heartfelt condolences to your family. Gretchen and Sam Averitt
