Dr. Butcher,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and the Korean War and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dear Cindy,
I want to express my most sincere condolences on the passing of your dad. I have fond memories of you during our high school years and the photograph of your dad is just as I remember him. I hope that life has been good to you throughout the years and that this sadness will pass in time, leaving only the best of memories of your dad to keep in your heart.
With love,
Lisa Penunuri

Dear Cindy,
I was saddened to hear of your family's loss. I never had the privilege of meeting your father, but there is no doubt he was a wonderful man whose life can be celebrated in all areas from personal relationships to professional accomplishments. I am sure that he was always proud of you and that you brought great joy to his life. My sincere condolences and fondest wishes to you and your family.
Lovingly,
Sydney Reilly (Sra. Acosta)

When I was a child around 11 or 12 I was brought to Dr. Butcher. I remember to this day how frightened I was and how very kind and soft-spoken and reassuring he was. After just a few moments with him my fear of being examined nearly melted away. I never forgot how kind he was to me.

It was with great sadness that I read of the passing of Dr. Bill. While driving the courtesy bus for Atria Living Manor I had the wonderful opportunity to share a great deal of time with him and it was a joy.
Whether it was going to the Health Center for his morning workout, the library where we discussed our favorite authors or simply to the bank it was a highlight of my day.
My sincere condolences to you all and I know he will be missed by many.

Dr. Butcher performed my dad's bypass surgery in 1977, giving him an additional 12 years with his family. I remember well the conversation he had with us about the dilemma we were facing with the seriousness of his condition. He clearly was a kind and gentle person and incredible at his craft as a 'restorer of life'.
