Revis Ballard Obituary
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Dalton Sr. and Mary Ethel Ballard, and brothers, Gene Ballard, Cleylan Ballard, and Luther Dalton Ballard Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Estelle Ballard of Ralph, Ala.; daughters, Brenda McCracken (Gary) of Ralph Ala., and Darlene Nicholson (Skip) of Fosters, Ala.; stepdaughter, Sheryl Foucher of Northport, Ala.; son, Don Ballard (Yvonne) of Greensboro, Ala.; stepson, Derrell Crimm (Terry) of Birmingham, Ala.; sisters, Anne Wesson, Ruth Cole, and Shirley Ballard; brother, Bert Ballard; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Donnell will be remembered for his love for his family and church. He thoroughly enjoyed gardening, fishing, and playing dominoes.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers are members of Tuscaloosa Primitive Baptist Church, former employees of Gulf States Paper Corp., staff at Hospice of West Alabama, and the Shiloh community.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama and the Tuscaloosa Primitive Baptist Church.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Hospice of West Alabama for all their love and care for our father.
