Jan. 1, 1917 - Oct. 29, 2010 Age 93 of White Bear Lake, MN Preceded in death by wife Jule L. (nee Kobs), father Henry and mother Eva of Hubbell, MI, brother Morgan and sister Dorothy. Survived by son Richard (Gloria) and daughter Carrol (Don) Knutson; grandchildren Richard and Douglas Knutson, Tammy (Douglas) Midyett; great grandchildren Cassandra and Justin Midyett and Jake Knutson; sister Beatrice and many nieces and nephews. Retiree of 3M Company, spanning 33 years in production industrial engineering and office management in St. Paul, Hastings, and Fairmont, MN. Avid hunter in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming, and fisherman of the Canadian wilderness. He enjoyed many years of boating on the St. Croix River and loved his quiet time at his cottage on Loon Lake, Comstock, WI. Funeral Service Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 11AM at the Johnson-Peterson Funeral Home, 2130 2nd St., WBL, with visitation at 9:30AM until service time.
