I am so sorry to learn of the loss of Uncle Fred. I have many fond memories of summers spent with David in the woods behind your house and making things out of Uncle Fred's "scrap" wood. No one could clean sunfish faster nor glean more meat out of little fish than Fred. He will be greatly missed. You are all in my prayers.

Going up north to Dinger's cabin was a highlight of my childhood. Uncle Fred taught me how to fish and filet. I haven't scaled a fish the old way in 40 years. Funny what things you remember ... but one thing I quote him on is "I eat to live - I don't live to eat". (Peter Korolchuk (nephew) Chanhassen, MN)

My best memoey of Fred was his unique laugh/snicker when joking around with us guys. And all the havoc we caused on Hurley st. at the 'house on the hill'. He'll be missed by many.
