Harley was unusually kind to clients. He was certainly able to provide the backup for his financial recommendations, with plenty of facts and figures. But what separated him from many of his colleagues was his willingness to listen to clients' personal stories and respond to their requests for advice on topics well beyond his speciality. I will always remember his patience and his willingness to help my father sort through numerous questions. He certainly earned his pleasant retirement.
