MaryAnn Tumini Obituary

of Plymouth, passed away peacefully June 25, 2010 at age 80 She was born in Duluth on January 29, 1930 to James & Dorothy DeVitis. MaryAnn graduated from Denfeld High School. She married Emmet in 1950. Later they moved to Mpls. and were longtime residents of Bryn Mawr. She was a member of Golden Valley Women's Club; enjoyed volunteering, dancing, cooking, crafts and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmet; grandson, Michael Tumini and sister, Larayne Sparby. She will be dearly missed by her children, James (Caroline), John (Carol), Jean (Jeffrey) Caryl, Joanne (Christopher) Holtmeier; grandchildren, Aron, Ashley, Salena, Angela, Jessica, Christine & Maria; sister, Corrine Goodfellow; as well as close nieces & nephews, and many devoted friends. Mass of Christian Burial 12 noon Tuesday at The Basilica of St. Mary, 88 N. 17th St., Mpls. Visitation 5-8 PM Monday at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. & Vicksburg Lane, and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Gearty-Delmore 763-553-1411
