Wayne J. Carlson Ph.D.

Age 60, of White Bear Township Passed away on December 3, 2011 Preceded in death by his father, Dale V.. Survived by his mother, Marcella; siblings, Craig (Carol), Scott (Nancy), Lynn (John Schmidt) Carlson and Alan (Tessa); aunt, Velma Fox; nieces, Jenny, Monica, Kimberly and Alex; nephews, David, James, Richard and Michael. Lynn so loved Wayne that she gave him a kidney in 1991. Wayne graduated from RPI and Ohio State with a degree in Astro Physics. He was a member of MENSA and Acacia Fraternity. He never lost his interest in science. He loved teaching, star gazing, romping in the leaves and sliding down the hill in the snow with his nieces and nephews at grandpa's house. He also enjoyed gardening and refinishing furniture. Despite his innumerable health problems, he always was upbeat. We will miss him now and forever. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Dale V. Funeral service 11 AM Wednesday, December 7 at CENTENNIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1524 West County Road C 2, Roseville with visitation one hour prior to the service at church.
