I was impressed by her kindness. Met Carole through her husband, Neal, who I had known since grade school. Both Carole and Neal are/were stellar individuals. It is certain that Carole will be greatly missed.

Thanks to UTS Alum news for this. Neil and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. I'm glad we had a few moments to talk about Central Presbyterian in the Cambria Church basement a few years ago. The fellow who was with Mary Ellen Daniel and I on our first date (Underground Church at UW-P), married us and our daughter Sarah attends there now. Take care of yourself and those around you. Stuart

Niell and Carole were such a cheerful presence at Macalester's Dayton Hall where Niell was my dorm counselor and I was a Freshman from Kansas City.

Carole had a thousand watt-smile and she was a joy to know at UTS, presbytery of TC, hospice and everywhere she worked and lived. We loved her and thank God for the memory of a wonderful servant. Jan Crissinger-Clark

I so appreciated Carole's joyful presence and her friendly support as I entered United Seminary as a very green 22 year-old. She was one of the people who helped me believe I could indeed become a pastor. My prayers are with your whole family!

Neal and family, I am sad to hear of Carole's passing; I know you will miss her terribly. What a wonderful pastor and friend she was! I will always remember and be grateful for her officiating at my Grandma's funeral and the time I stayed with you on Long Island (1990) before traveling to Ireland. May you be surrounded with God's comfort and filled with God's peace.
