Marshall KRIESEL Obituary

Age 73, of St. Paul Entrepreneur and Innovator Passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014. Survived by cherished wife of 51 years, Valerie; sons Matthew (Melissa) and Joshua (Dana); grandson Markus; brothers Douglas, Dean, and Dale; nephew John; niece Ronna (Patrick). Marshall will be remembered for his diverse business interests, profound intellect, and ability to engage people of all backgrounds. He was the founder of five companies and the inventor of record on more than 200 patents. Those who loved him will miss his consistent support, optimism, and encouragement. Funeral service Thursday, January 30 at 11am at St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral (519 Oak Grove Street, Minneapolis, MN). Visitation one hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred to Children's Home Society of Minnesota.

Marshall, I kind of lost track of you over the years, but it looks as if you have had an interesting, rewarding and fulfilling life. I remember the experiments that you and I preformed in your parent's basement using your “killer” Gilbert Chemistry Set. Thanks for sharing!
So, I'll greet you one last time with the phrase we used to share – “More Logwood!”
