Richard GUNDERSON Obituary

Age 89, Of St. Paul Preceded in death by parents Roy and Elnora Gunderson and brother Merlin. Survived by wife, Mary Jane; sons, Vince (Bev), Scott, Dave (Jill); grand-children, Mike and Christine; and sisters-in-law, Fi Gunderson and Virginia Weckwerth. He was born in a log cabin in the town of Brevik MN, founded by his grandfather Olav Brevik. He grew up on a farm in the north woods until joining the army and being sent to the Pacific during WWll. He returned and became a sevice technician for vending and coffee companies until starting his own business with a service station. Upon retiring he took up golf, cross country skiing and traveling and was always active and willing to help out anyone. He will be missed. Service at Fort Snelling Chapel on May 14 at 12pm followed by burial.

I'm sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I worked with him at 3M, for Griswold Coffee many, many years ago. He was always a great guy to be around. He and his family are in my prayers.
