I'm so sorry to hear of Scott's passing, I know this past year has been especially difficult. Scott was a tremendous "boss", when I worked with him a Lindquist and Vennum, and became a treasured friend. I value the good advice he shared with me, I quote him at times, and I cherish the laughs we shared. Sally, I'm sorry for you tremendous loss. I'm sorry I wasn't there to show my respects at his funeral, he was a good, good man.

I worked for Scott for many years and am grateful for that. I always appreciated his openness, insight, and humor. Since we have a few different holidays here in Canada, he ribbed me that my wife was making them up so I could have a long weekend. I always enjoyed our conversations, brainstorming sessions, dinners (hamburger on a bun – nothing else on it) and will miss him. Thanks for everything, Scott.

You were a great guy! Always fun to volunteer with at the Winter Carnival since the 80's and all the other St Paul events. Till we meet again and have an Orange Crush or "Pop" together... You will be truly missed!!!

I only knew Scott a short while, but in that time discovered him to be, firm fair and fun.
With a keen sharp and agile mind along with a love of Mountain Dew.
His presence will be missed by all and I am sure will not be forgotten.
My thoughts are for him, his family and friends.
Scott have fun wherever you are !

Scott was a friend, a kind and real person who I was very glad to have known. We had a lot of good times at conferences and I'll always remember our nights in Chicago where Charlie and his 3 Angels had a little too much fun. I'll really miss Scott, and I hope he's in a better place now.

I knew Scott since 2000 and he was a great guy! We had a special bond because my wife has Crohns Disease and he was always interested to know how she was doing and visa versa. Scott, you will be missed my friend....

So sorry for your family's loss. I remember Scott be a very kind, gentle person when he would visit his dad at Sunrise. Sending prayers your way.

I'm sorry to say, I lost touch with Scott after my move to Eau Claire, WI. Scott and I worked together to run the Elite Software Users Group in the Twin Cities before he moved on to work for Elite/Thomson Reuters. He was a dedicated professional who always served others. He loved serving on the St. Paul Winter Carnival committees and was a very genuine and fun person. My condolences to his family.

Scott was a good man. He took care of things made you feel like it was all going to work out. Honest and kind. This is a loss to the world.

Burgers ('meat in a bun'), hot dogs, cheese curds, onion rings, chicken tenders, cheese pizza, prime rib, O'Gara's chicken dinners, Miller Genuine Draft, Hershey chocolate bars, and, of course, Mountain Dew...all food/beverage related but they all roll up into the fun times, the adventures, the laughs, and the great conversations which always followed Scott around. Scott's tremendous work ethic, dedication to friends and family, passion for people who serve St. Paul and the US (hence his patch collections), and all things St. Paul are a testament to the great friend and totally interesting person he was. What a super guy and we're so happy we were a part of his life! Plus, he was a snappy dresser!
