Howard LEPPLA Obituary

1927 - 2016 Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away on February 14th, his 52nd wedding anniversary. He is survived by his wife, Mary Leppla of Mpls MN, his daughters Pamela Mayer of Westlake Village, CA and Melissa Owens of Centennial, CO, his brother Roger Leppla of Stillwater, MN and close family friend Barb Johnson of Mpls MN, grandchildren Shawn Mayer, Heather Mayer, Morgan Owens, Matthew Owens, nieces, nephews, cousins and innumerable friends. Known as "Sam" to most folks, his interests included travel, sailing and the world of business. An amazing entrepreneur and adventurer, Sam will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives he touched around the globe. There will be a private family memorial ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.

I remember him as Howie as well. High school days are a long time ago, but Howie was a good friend. Some people remain in our memories forever. I will keep his family and friends in my prayers.
