Dear Lou,
My heart goes out to you -- Peggy was truly one of the sweetest and kindest persons I've ever known. She gave generously of herself to so many, and was so upbeat and courageous, even when things looked dark. I've included a photo from one of our Katahdin Specialty shows -- she was always there sharing the fun. I'm sure there were many who loved her -- both two legged and four legged, waiting at the Rainbow Bridge.

We arrived pretty close to the same time and have never had to be without each other. We finished each others sentences and loved the Beatles. As much a sister as a cousin - I miss her more than I can say.
Love you sweet girl and I know you are in Heaven with those we have lost and loved.

To my sister Peg, the youngest of my three sisters who always took care of their little bro...not an easy task. Warm, happy memories of our life Peg are far too numerous to mention. Thank you for your patience with me. Not a day will go by that you will not be in my heart, thoughts, and prayers. Also thank you to Peg's loving husband Lou;I will never forget how gallantly you took care of Peg when she became ill.You never gave up on her, she was very lucky to have you. Peg, I will miss you with every beat of my heart. Your little brother Pete.
Rest in peace.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Peggy, but as a comrade in the German Shorthaired Pointer rescue world, I honor all the time, work, and heart that she put into saving so many of them. The legacy that she leaves is more than just the saved lives; she laid the groundwork for others to follow in her footsteps and showed us how it was done. She was an inspiration. I pray she has been reunited now on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge with those of her beloved pointers that went before her.

Other than being an angel, I will remember my son Peter following Peggy around during her daily chores. It was during this time that he learned to appreciate animals and the outdoors.
I have comfort knowing that Memes, Hank, and Richard gloriously screamed "here she comes". Thank you for being a wonderful sister in law Peggie, I love you.

For Peggy,
You once gave me a beautiful hand-made Christmas card that was pretty much a list of thank you’s to me. I still have that card and laugh out loud every time I read it. Some of the thank you’s were for: French fries on telephone poles, the rambler wheel falling off, “it’s a negative B!.” None of these would make any sense to anyone else, but they are memories I cherish and never, ever forget.
Here’s my thank you list to you, my Peggy:
• Thank you for honoring me by allowing me to be your best friend for our whole lives. Nothing makes me feel as proud knowing that.
• Thank you for so generously sharing your wonderful family with me: Babes, Henry, Annie, Frizz (Christine), Ricky (who I always had a crush on), and Pete, better known to me as Poots. Your parents took me in when I pretty much had no place to go and I’m forever grateful to them and love them dearly.
• Thank you for your honesty, loyalty, and strength that guided me ALWAYS! I’m pretty sure if you look up those words in the dictionary, your picture is there. It might be next to stubbornness, too! ?
• Thanks for bringing Canoey Louis into my life. I liked him the minute I met him. There’s a strength and sweetness about him that I treasure and NO ONE could have loved you more or taken better care of you than Dr. Gagnon.
• Thanks for David, who you’ve helped turn into one of the nicest young people I know, and he got really cute, too!
• Thanks for loving my kids as if they were your own. They all love you back.
• Thanks for leaving me with the strength of your faith that there really is a better place to go to and I know you are there. Say hi to Henry, Bola and Adelard for me.
• Thanks for laughter that made our cheeks hurt.
• Thanks for karate, movies, singing, etc,. etc. You know!
There will never be a day that goes by that I won’t think of you and miss you. You are part of soul and you took some of that with you. The world seems a little off kilter, but the heavens are rejoicing. I love forever. ybfitwww -- Patsy

I have some great memories training with Peggy at National Karate Institute. She was an awesome role model, always trying her best and always with that beautiful smile intact. I also recall how proudly she would look upon David at the dojo. I know she will be missed by all, human and canine alike. Rest in Peace Peg
