Dear Family,
Your Dad had such a long association with Bob and me. I've lost a dear friend and brother as he cared for Bob even in his elderly years. Bob and Gene provided us with so much fun and great times that I will keep in my heart forever. The laughter and love will be remembered and treasured. My heart goes out to you all at this time of sorrow. With sympathy and love

Dear Family,
Your Dad was one in a million! I am so blessed that he and I became friends in his later years. I truly loved him, as did my Dad and Mom. Gene would come up to Maine and visit us and the fun we had from walks down to the lake to him giving me word for word instructions, most mornings, on how to make the perfect french toast. His humor was fantastic. Gene was a brilliant doctor and kind soul that helped many way past his retirement. My father being one. Gene was a true friend and will always be missed. My prayers are with you all. With love

Your Dad was the best. He was new to the Pediatric group and I was very fortunate to have had him as the doctor for my children. He made many house calls to my home and never made me feel as though he was wasting his time or that I, as a young new mother, was overreacting. Thank you for sharing him with us. Our prayers are with all of you.

Butch; So sorry to hear of your father's passing. I remember going for a ride in your VW bug - my first bug experience - and our 8th grade pool party at your house; good memories of your family! I'll remember you in my prayers this week.
Take Care,
Mike
