Richard Forcier Obituary

MANCHESTER - Richard P. Forcier, 79, died March 8, 2012, at the Elliot Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born in Manchester, the son of Albert and Josephine (Lambert) Forcier, and had been a lifelong resident of this city.

He owned and operated Richard P. Forcier General Contractor for over 50 years. He was a 75-year member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.

He had been a parishioner of St. George Church until its closing, then became a parishioner of St. Joseph Cathedral.

Members of his family include cousins, Lucille and Paul Ouellet of Manchester; their daughter, Lisa Ouellet; Lisa's children, Mrs. Patrick (Samantha) McDonough and Ava McDonough; Lucille and Paul's son Michael Ouellet, and his son Damien.

services:Calling hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at the J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Cathedral, corner of Pine and Lowell streets. Committal prayers and entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum Chapel.
