Yesterday I learned of the passing of one of my favorite people. He was loved by many, and the sort of person that, as one passes through life, one realizes the great blessing of having known him. We shared years together in the national guard, and the barracks jams after the training days were over will never be forgotton. We did square dances together for years in the old Wentworth town hall. It will never be the same now that you've left us. Lester Bradley, you are missed, and will be for a very long time. Sam and I are proud to have had you for a friend. And we'll keep playing the music...

I served with Lester on the STE committee and counted Lester as a friend for several years. With deepest sympathy,

I am truly saddened, upon learning of Lester's passing. My twin brother and I lived on their farm when we were kid's. We had great times with both Lester and Louise. That was one of the best summers of my childhood. I remember fondly, the time Lester, Louise, Donald ( my brother ) and I were standing around the above ground waste pool, and I lit and threw a cherry bomb onto the pool. Ralph was also there. All of us except Ralph turned and ran, so as not to get hit with the pool contents when the blast came. When it blew, the corrugated cover sheets lifted up,and sewage flew out in all directions. All of us that we're running away had our backs covered with the flying serate, and when we turned around to see what happened, there stood Ralph ,covered head to toe with The flying sewage all over the front of him. We were in tears from laughing so hard. Dick Bradley was fit to be tied. We were in trouble for a while. Dave Sinclair

My condolences, Sharon and family. I "met" Les online at the Kountry Life Forum, and we exchanged emails over politics from another forum. Would have enjoyed meeting in person. R.I.P.

Very sorry to hear of Les's passing. We first met Les during his hospital stay when he first had the cancer. We've stayed in contact ever since, but not as much as we should have. Les made an impression upon people that not many people have. He will be remembered always. Our condolences go out to you, Sharon, and the rest of your family.

I am saddened to hear of Lester's passing. I remember him from my days at Ferncliff above his family home. I recall the fun summer at Grandpa's Farm working with the Bradley family, and my brothers have very fond memories of fun times with Lester.
He accomplished a lot in his lifetime. He will be missed.

I met Les on line at the Kountry Life forum about 10 years or so ago. Throughout that time I found him to be a man of high caliber. Very knowledgeable but, also, very down to earth. Over the years we exchanged email but we never met face to face much to my regret. I shall miss Les but I feel confident he is in a much better place.
To Les' wife and family I offer my sincerest condolences and prayer.

Dear Bradleys- how sad I was to hear that Lester had died. So many wonderful memories with all of you but Lester was always so much fun to be with. He never let me forget that I was a "city" girl among the true country boys. I am so thankful for having my young summers filled with wonderful times with all of you. Love you all and may you find peace in the quiet of the New Hampshire mountains and in the love you share with each other. Dorrie Althoff

Lester will be missed greatly. He helped me through some difficult times after I sustained a traumatic life-altering injury. He made time to visit me at my home on several occasions. I always enjoyed his stories and his laughter. A very good friend and co-worker. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I served with Lester in the NH House for the time he was there. I came to realize that my brother George Randall knew him quite well from the dance and music scene. Everyone liked Lester for his insight and values. He served on the Science and Technology Committee and was a valuable member with knowledge of electrical power and transmission issues. We will miss him as a House Rep. and Grafton County Delegation member. Rep. Mary Cooney

I knew Les from the Wentworth square dances. His sense of humor, fun and enthusiasm always made it a pleasure to dance to his calling. He never scolded anyone, and arguably had more fun than the dancers. He will certainly be greatly missed.

Les was a long time member of the Kountry Life forum and made many friends there. We will miss him and his contributions to our conversations there.
Now who will be there to correct our spelling and our lack of punctuations? I know he is singing with the angels now. My prayers and thoughts are with Sharon and his family. May God bless you and hold you close as you adjust to Les' absence. Just remember we can see him when we get to go to heaven.

Now Lester is singing and playing with an even grander musical group! What a wonderful gift he shared with us as he performed with Sharon and the Blake Mountain Band. We had a really nice visit in the fall as we admired the hummingbirds that were flocking around his feeder. I know that he was valiantly fighting the good fight at that time. I am sure, to paraphrase the prophet Isaiah, that Lester has found his strength renewed, rising on wings as an eagle, running and not getting weary, walking and not growing weak. Our deepest sympathy is with all of the Bradley family. May God's Peace be with you.
