To the Colburn Family : Tim & I are neighbors living right across the street. We knew Glenn was ill, just didn't know the severity & how sad we are to know we were so close & didn't have the chance to help! Glenn was a model neighbor, who loved having the nicest house on the street! He took such pride in it's upkeep! I will miss our chats as we shovel snow from our driveways...he was always good for a cheery few words & a hearty wave !! Mayre, if you need anything, please call upon us...we truly would love to help in any way !! Glad you have Willie & Wally close by...sometimes our pets become our biggest cheerleaders as they try to make you smile & feel better!! Hugs to you & family and again, we will miss Glenn's smiling face & wave !!

As a former NH ASA coach, I was sad to hear of Glenn's passing. He was an extremely professional, helpful umpire who always took the time to explain things to our girls, as well as the intricacies of the ASA softball rules. He was fair across the board. We always were glad to see Glenn at any tournament we played in. The world lost one of the good guys.

My friendship with Glenn dates back more than 50 years. And although we lived many states apart, that friendship never dwindled because of the man Glenn was. Seeing him at the KHS '67 reunion every five years was not really enough; however, his presence each time made those five years fly by. Glenn was a wonderful human being in every sense of the word. I wish we could have connected in New Hampshire in August, but it wasn't meant to be that weekend. Now I will miss him even more. I am proud to call him a true friend, and the light of that friendship will never dim. Peace brother, eternal rest and a heavenly reward are now yours.

While many of us were aware of Glenn's medical status, it comes as a bit of shock to hear of his passing. We thought he'd be around for a while longer.
I consider myself a "mentoree" of Glenn's regarding ASA/NFHS softball officiating. He was always available for questions and guidance which I greatly appreciated. I'm also glad to have had the opportunity to work with him this past summer when he was the UIC for an ASA National Tournament in Maryland.
Condolences to Glenn's wife and family.
