Karl L. Eschrich

CONCORD - Karl L. Eschrich, 53, of Concord, passed away at home following a period of declining health.Karl was born in Manchester on Sept. 10, 1961, to Louis and Therese (Lange) Eschrich. He was a graduate of West High School Class of 1979 and SNHU Class of 1984. He began a career in the insurance industry shortly after college and most recently worked for Guarantee Trust in Boston. Karl was a resident of Manchester until he moved to the Concord area in 1992. He was a sports fanatic, rooting for all of the New England teams. He was a roller coaster enthusiast and enjoyed long car rides, with or without a planned destination. He is described by his family as a strong-willed man who loved his children and deeply enjoyed spending time with his family, especially around the holidays.Karl is survived by his former wife, Sharon Godfrey, of Concord; his step-son John Godfrey and wife Megan of Hooksett; his daughter, Lauren Eschrich, of Concord; his brother, Vincent Eschrich; and many extended family members and beloved friends. He was predeceased by his parents.

SERVICES: Family and friends are invited to gather Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m., at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 172 King St., in Boscawen.
