Sarah Rousseau Obituary
The most important part of Sarah's life was her family. She tried for years to become a mother and that dream came true when Gretl Elliott Rousseau was born on Nov. 20, 2014. Sarah knows that Gretl will be lovingly cared for by her family. Sarah leaves behind her husband, Adam A. Rousseau; her mother, Constance Allard Elliott; and her sister, Laura Elliott Johnson, along with her daughters Grace and Audrey Johnson. She will be missed greatly by her mother-in-law, Cindy Rousseau; and brother-in-law, Joshua Rousseau. Sarah's extended family, although large, was extremely close-knit, and she will be forever in the hearts of many aunts, uncles and cousins, most importantly Muriel Allard, Chip and Linda Allard, along with Tom Rousseau and Nancy Bolton.
She was born in Manchester on Aug. 22, 1975. She graduated from Trinity High School in 1993 and Notre Dame College in 1997. She devoted over 20 years of her life to her other "family" at Alpha-Bits Learning Center. As a director, teacher and friend to all the families at her school, "Miss Sarah" will be missed by many, many children that she loved so fiercely each and every day.
Sarah's vivacious and beautiful personality lit up any room. She loved her home that she and her husband lovingly restored here in Manchester. She also loved her home that she shared with her family in Naples, Fla., where she always enjoyed the sunshine and time on the ocean.
She was predeceased by her father, Robert L. Elliott, in 2004; and her father-in-law, David A. Rousseau, in 2012; her cousin, Andrew J. Allard, in 2007; and most recently, the man who walked her down the aisle on her wedding day, her cousin Matthew L. Allard, in 2015.

SERVICES: A celebration of Sarah's life will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, at Manchester Country Club in Bedford. It will begin with a prayer service at 10 a.m., followed by a reception. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gretl Elliott Rousseau Educational Fund in care of William G. Belezos, Wells Fargo, 138 Conant St., 4th Floor, Beverly, MA 01915.

My condolence to Andrew and his family and especially their daughter the first time I'm at Sarah she work at Pizzaz, years past and I ran into Sarah at center city at center city. Sarah had her nails done by the owner Debbie Booth. I can't forget the day that her aunt Marlene called me in tears to let me know of the passing of Sarah I hope Adam and his little girl know that Sarah will always be with them and watch over them.

To say Sarah lit up a room when she walked in would be an understatement. She radiated a positive aura all the time. You could feel the energy and see the light that surrounded Sarah all the time. No matter how bad my day was going Sarah had a way of making it into a good day just by talking to me! I will truly miss this beacon of light but I know she is now the new brightest star in the night sky!

As did each member of the Alpha-Bits family had, Sarah made my employment there a wonderful adventure of learning and loving children. She always had the right thing to say and a smile to give. I remember seeing her on the road with my husband and her announcing through the window that she was expecting and hoping to be as happy as we were with the new chapter in her life. Sarah came into my cafe often. I just saw her right before she had the baby. She told me she had just decorated the whole house. She was beyond thrilled to be expecting. Heavy heart this past week since learning of Sarah's passing. Sarah was the epitome of beautiful. Both inside and out. She had a passion for life and knew how to live and have fun. Sarah was a wonderful woman with a great sense of humor and a kind heart. I have only a few fond memories of her, it was a few years ago now that our paths crossed. Sarah had convinced me to run The Rover road race with her and I agreed. I had never even exercised before but she was hard to say no to. We started and I was slow it looked like she was running in place beside me so I suggested she run ahead. She lapped me three times. Each time pushing me with her positive way to finish. Though she finished much earlier she still motivated me and finished the race. She ran with me and I finished. That was the only race I had ever ran and I wouldn't have done it without her. I had never met anyone like her before and it saddens my heart to know she is not here. She was a small package with huge impact. Blessed to have known her even a little.
