Christopher James Chabot returned to his Maker on May 7, 2015, at the Harding Nursing Home. Born on September 10, 1961, in Manchester, NH, "Chris" was a joyful soul with love for family, music, ice cream and hanging out with his bros. He lived most of his life in Wilton, NH, and attended school in Milford, NH, for many years. He worked at the Market Basket in Jaffrey, NH, until he retired about 5 years ago. He joins his parents, Simone B. (Miville) Chabot and Paul E. Chabot, in heaven. He finally gets to meet his brother, Mathew, who died before Chris was born. He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Pauline, Maryel, Aurore, Agnes Almquist, Victoria Soodak, Bernard, Francis and Pierre. Many thanks to the Harding Nursing Home who cared so lovingly for Chris in his final days. A special appreciation for Vicki, Miranda and Bill Soodak who sheltered him so long when he had to leave his childhood home. Thanks also to the SEMC people and Back to Basics group, WHS Class of '69, Wayne, Jeff, Mahone, Dave and many others who let Chris feel a part of their lives. There will be a memorial service on May 23, 2015, at 10 a.m. at the Michaud Funeral Home, Maple St., Wilton, NH.

Dr. Chabot and family, so very sorry for your great loss, I got to know Chris when he came to the office with his brother in Waterville...he loved my cookies and I used to slip him one when he was there even though Dr. Chabot said he was on a diet :) he always had a BIG smile when I handed him one, that was a million dollor smile :)...I know you will miss that most of all.. MY deepest sympathy to all the family..
