Katherine A. Godfrey
Severn, MD - Oriskany Falls
On May 23, 2013 Katherine passed away peacefully after an extended illness. She was born on December 9, 1936, to the late Glenn and Ruby Bemis of New Berlin, NY. Sister of Fred Bemis, of Tampa, FL, and departed brother, Nelson Bemis, of Hubbardsville, NY. Predeceased by her husband of 46 plus years of marriage, Leo Ralph Godfrey. She is survived by son, Kevin and wife, Vicki Brooks Godfrey, of Severn, MD; son, Kurt and wife, Carol Bojarski Godfrey, of Odenton, MD; daughter, Roberta and husband, Robert Williams, of Waterville, NY; and six grandchildren, Michael Godfrey, Kenna, Lydia, Molly and Owen Ralph Williams and Eric Godfrey. Services will be held June 1, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Graham Cemetery on Wickwire Road, Hubbardsville, NY. Donations to her memory, in lieu of flowers, may be made to: The East Hamilton Methodist Church, 214 Madison Street, Waterville, NY 13480 or Hubbardsville Volunteer Fire Co., Green Road, Hubbardsville, NY 13355.
