Raymond F. Diana, Sr.
Oriskany Falls
Raymond F. Diana, Sr., age 91, of College Street and most recently of the Presbyterian Home of CNY, passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 7, 2012, at the home, surrounded by his loving family. Surviving are his wife, Sarah "Sally" Diana, of Oriskany Falls; one daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Barry Tallman, of Oriskany Falls; three sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond, Jr., and Vicky Diana, of Oriskany Falls, Robert "Bob" Diana and Kit Thurston, of Verona, and Dan and Connie Diana, of Madison; one brother, Anthony Diana, of Utica; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several special cousins. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Chabot, the nurses, therapist and staff at the Presbyterian Home for their compassionate care given to Ray during his stay at the home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Main Street, Oriskany Falls, NY, with Rev. Paul Carey celebrating. Spring burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Oriskany Falls, NY. Calling hours will be private at the Malecki Funeral Home, Inc., Vernon.
