ORISKANY FALLS
Shirley M. Kelley, 85, a long time resident of Oriskany Falls, entered into rest on Saturday November 14, 2015. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Edna Ford DeReamer. She worked 30 plus years at GE and obtained a high level security clearance, assembling specialized military satellites. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be sadly missed by her daughter, Diane Howe, of Deansboro, NY; and her granddaughters, Jessica Alter and her husband, Christopher, and Rachel Evans and her son, Tyler. She was blessed with two life long friends, Ruth Effner and Patricia Wrape. Her family would like to thank the Lutheran Adult Home and the Gordon and Applewood Units for their care. Shirley's celebration of life will be held Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Katherine Luther Chapel, 110 Utica Rd., Clinton, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider Oriskany Falls Volunteer Ambulance or Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance. Arrangements under the guidance of John L. Matt Funeral Home, Chadwicks, NY.
