Barbara Olson Beckwith

Beckwith, Barbara Olson 04/11/1928 ~ 03/01/2014 LA JOLLA -- Barbara Olson Beckwith, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was the daughter of Hazel Updike Reasoner and Robert Reasoner of Omaha, NE. She attended La Jolla Elementary and Brownell Hall in Omaha. Married Robert C. Olson in 1946 and moved to La Jolla. Barbara enjoyed volunteering as a Pink Lady for Scripps Hospital Auxiliary, Junior League of Omaha and San Diego, Las Patrons of La Jolla, Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, PTA for Scripps Elementary School. She is survived by her husband, of 24 years Warren W. Beckwith Jr.; her daughters, Terri O Normann and Deedee O Prideaux, of La Jolla; her son, Larry Olson of Oldsmar, FL; six grand children; five great grandchildren; and a niece; and 2 nephews. Barbara's Ashes were scattered at sea, on March 21st, 2014.
