Thinking of Doug today. It doesn't seem possible that he has been gone so long. He was a very cute teenager when I met him after being engaged to Pat, his older brother. Since we all moved to different places in the country, we didn't get a chance to see him often, but I know that he was a good father and a good husband. What else can be important in life?

Many years ago, I knew Doug as a neighbor in Mt. Carroll, Illinois and also knew him as the little brother of my very good friend.
Although that was the last time I had contact with Doug, many memories came back when reading his obituary.
Doug's family have my deepest sympathy on his passing.
May God be with you in this time of sorrow.

So very sorry to hear of Doug"s passing. Just returned to San Diego and found out. I worked with Doug at Xerox for many years and kept in touch and he left. We would run into each other at the grocery store and catch up on things.
I will miss him dearly

Doug and I worked together at Xerox in San Diego. Doug was always cheerful and very supportive when I transfered into the office. Also, we kept in touch after we both left Xerox. He was a fine man. Teena and I send our thoughts and prayers to his family.

I was sad to hear of the passing of Doug. I worked with him for many years at Xerox. He had a heart of gold and especially enjoyed talking about his family. College basketball was another one of his favorite things. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Kearnaghan family.

Dear Kearnaghan Family,
I am so sad to hear that Doug has passed from this life. I've known him since 1976 when I was a new Sales Rep at Xerox in Illinois and later he was my Sales Manager and friend in San Diego. Doug always loved his family and he was someone we could all look up to as a really good, honest man. I am so sorry -he will be missed by many people.

We are so sorry that you have lost your dad. We thought that you might enjoy this photo of him when, at 18 years old, he served as the best man in our wedding.
