Allan,
I'm so glad Ginny was able to rekindle her love of music toward the end. I think it brought her great happiness. All of her piano class friends will remember the wonderful kinship that developed while playing duets--and especially the lovely closing luncheons at your house.
I wish you peace and comfort. Cindy Freeman

We were so sad to hear about Ginny. During her time attending Christian Church of Arlington Heights we shared many lovely memories together. The dinner group was such a great time with great friends and so many memories. Ginny was a special Lady!

My condolences to Ginny's family. When I came to the Daily Herald in 1989 as news editor, Ginny stood out among copy editors for her mature vision, her overall commitment to quality work and her particular interest in getting every word right. On top of all that, she was a nice person and a joy to work with.

I'm sorry to see this news. I worked with Ginny mostly in the 1990s, every day, on our community copy desk. The community desk was a good place for her, as she knew the suburbs so well, especially Barrington at the time. We'll miss her!

As my only sibling, Ginny has been a big part of my life...especially after we retired and had time to spend together. She will be missed sorely by both my husband, Pat, and myself.
