SANTA ROSA, TX.-
Francis ``Frank'Arthur Ladue Jr., 63, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011 in Solara Hospital in Harlingen. Frank was born on March 7, 1947 in Boston, Mass. To Francis Arthur Ladue Sr. and Marian Matthews Ladue.
Frank was a veteran in U.S. Navy, having served during the Vietnam War. Frank was a member of the Santa Rosa Fire Department. Frank had a passion for animals and was very involved with the Tip of Texas K9 Rescue; and foster care for over 150 animals.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joan Ladue; son, Nick Tran Ladue; daughters, Susie Santos and Mari Valdez; brother, John Ladue; sisters, Jean Eckman and Nancy Reynolds; and six grandchildren, Michael Tran, Jimmy Tran, Maranda Hernandez, Alberta Coral Hernandez, Yasmine Hernandez, and Steven Valdez.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2:00 pm in Heavenly Grace Chapel with Reverend Chris Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Heavenly Grace Memorial Park with full military honors by American Legion Post #205 and V.F. W. Post #2410 and honors by Santa Rosa Fire Department.
Pallbearers will be Amanie Diaz, John Diaz Jr., Carlos La Guinas, Humberto Castaneda, Javier Florencia, Tony Sanchez, and Cody Perez.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tip of Texas K9 Rescue or Santa Rosa Fire Department.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home and Crematory.
