Harvey HEINZ Obituary
Harvey Denis Heinz, of Surrey BC was born in Edmonton AB, August 31, 1930 and passed away peacefully on July 6, 2013. Harvey is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Erna; sons Randy Angelika), Gerry (Jo-Ann); grandchildren Sharla Cockwell Aaron), Kelly, Ryan, and Lindsay; sister Phyl Jacula, brothers Vince, Ray, Wayne,and Stan. He will be greatly missed, forever loved and always in our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday July 20, 2013, 2:00pm at Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 72nd Ave, Surrey. I only knew Harvey through his web pages on recreational mathematics. They are still rare gems on the Internet and I hope they can live on long after Harvey's passing. Condolences to the family.

Dear Erna,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Harv. I have wonderful childhood memories of Harv, yourself and the boys. Lots of ski trips to Hemlock, running back and forth between our back yards, and even the Halloween parties in mom and dad's basement. I will treasure these memories for ever and I hope you find peace, knowing your husband was so well loved and remembered.

Harvey was a true friend. He was an honest, kind considerate and a most hospitable person. He was also very well liked and appreciated by all who knew him.

Harv will be missed by all of us that knew him, he was a real friend and he shared lots of ideas with us. With his counted cross stitch [makeing me want to start another project} Teaching me about soduko , I almost learnt to play Chess from him . Talking about math like it was really fun.
