BEAUCHEMIN, Armand Bernard
September 8, 1917 - January 6, 2014
After a long, full life, Dad/Papa/Grandpa/Great- grandpa passed away on Jan. 6 in Burnaby. Pre- deceased by first wife Irene, second wife Thura, and 10 brothers and sisters. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his 2 sisters Terese and Rita, children Roger, Gerald (Julie), Lynn (Bryan), Karen (Ian), Susan, Janice (Les) and James (Leslie), 14 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. Dad was born in St. Vitale, Manitoba and worked first at farming and logging. He served in the army during WWII and then worked as an auto mechanic, running his own shop "Lefty's" garage in Dunrea, Manitoba. After Irene's death he moved to B.C. in 1970 where he met Thura. They were married in 1971. He worked at Sears auto shop until his retirement. Armand and Thura enjoyed many happy years of playing bridge and crib, fishing, and motor home trips. Dad was a superb vegetable gardener, great cook and true handy man. He will be remembered most for his ability to fix anything and invent a new gadget when he couldn't find what he needed or re-purpose something old. A memorial service has been scheduled for Friday, February 21st 4:30 pm at First United Church, 15385 Semiahmoo Avenue, White Rock, B.C. Please do not wear perfume or any scented personal care/ hair products if you are able to join us at the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a charity of your choice.

Armand was the most loving, warm neighbour that anyone could wish for. He and Thura always made us feel welcome in their lives. We miss them.
