McSHANE _ David Kennedy January 19, 1955 - July 17, 2004 It is with deep sadness that Janice, Colleen and Matthew announce the passing of their beloved husband and father after a long and brave battle with cancer. David will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his parents Ken and Vera, brother Michael, aunt and uncle Marg and Dave Munro, parents-in-law Bill and Irene Blaney, brothers-in-law Robert and Scott, sisters-in-law Cheryl and Erin (Peter), nieces Sarah, Erin and Brandi, numerous cousins and close personal friends and work colleagues. Born in Vancouver, David graduated from Prince of Wales High School and UBC. David was the Managing Partner of KPMG in Vancouver, B.C. Dave achieved one of the pinnacles of his professional career by being awarded a F.C.A. this year. Loving thanks to Dr. Bev Spring at the Vancouver Hospice Society and the nurses and doctors at the Pacific Spirit Health Centre for their kindness and support during David's illness. Thank you also goes to Dr. Hal Gunn at The Centre for Integrated Healing for his kindness and support. Memorial Service will be held Thursday, July 22 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's (Kerrisdale) Anglican Church, 2490 West 37th (at Larch) Vancouver. Reception to follow, Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club, 4300 S. W. Marine Drive, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Cancer Foundation, #200 - 601 W. Broadway, Vancouver, B.C.
