Evelyn Yered Obituary
Evelyn Jeanette Yered of Camarillo was born July 29, 1927 in Sughbeen, Lebanon to James and Sophia George. She grew up in Cairo, Egypt and attended the Sisters of Notre Dame School where she excelled and was fluent in 4 languages.
Evelyn met and married Private Louis Yered during World War II. After the war she moved to Boston, Mass. and several years later they moved to Sudbury, Mass. where they raised their six children. In 1968 they moved to Santa Barbara, Calif. and later to Camarillo, Calif. Evelyn was known for her love of faith, family and home and will always be remembered.
She is survived by her husband Louis of 65 years, son Joseph and wife Maureen, son Louis and wife Chris, daughter Pauline Robertson and husband Bill, son Paul and wife Connie, son James and daughter Donna. Grandchildren: Kimberly Yered, Louis Yered III, Lisa Wells and husband Randy, Dr. Anne Marie Yered and husband John Cournane, Victoria Yered and husband Dan Shelton, Crystal Robertson, Kelly Robertson, Cara Robertson, Jamie Tomsen and husband Justin, Jenna Yered, John Yered, Lily Yered and Luke Yered. Great- grandchildren: Samson and Selah Cournane.
We would like to thank all the wonderful medical personnel that took care of our Mother, especially Dr. Christine Dahlin. Evelyn was a long time parishioner at Padre Serra Church in Camarillo where there will be a private funeral and Mass. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Conejo Mountain Funeral Home 805-482-1959.

Dear Yered Family,
Your wife, mother, and grandmother was a beautiful woman. Though we were not family...she treated us as if we were her own children and even my two children referred to Evelyn and Louis as Grandma and Grandpa. We send our prayers to each and everyone of you. We have been blessed to have had Evelyn in our lives.
