A woman who is strong-willed, loving, gregarious, graciously hearted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was taken into GOD'S KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. GOD called upon her from this Earth to release her body from suffering; to continue her spirited soul of living free of pain and to keep her soul reigning in the HEAVENS above on Oct. 22, 2010. On this very morning GOD spoke in which the SUN came out to shine.
Marie was a joy-filled and outspoken woman who always stood tall with wisdom and strength to all that knew her. She brought thunders of laughter with her charismatic personality and her love of life. Marie experienced many difficult trials and tribulations through her life, but always remained full of wit at the age of 87 even until her last days on Earth with family and friends.
Marie blessed us with her presence on May 27, 1923 in Boone, Colo., and then became a native Californian in 1947. Her courageousness, successful determination in life and strength of mind will not be lost; however, it will be bestowed upon her daughter, Connie and husband Larry; maternal grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Albert, Erica, Erik, Kailey, Gwynoveir, Dimitri, Olivia and Andrei. Her love and devotion has touched her other three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren by Connie's second marriage. Love is unbiased, forgiving and unconditional that Marie has tattooed our hearts with; in which, we will always remember our mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend forever more.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, in the historic Chapel of the Islands at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park. A service of remembrance will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, also in the Chapel of the Islands. Interment will follow in the park.
