Dear Joani and family,
I am so shocked and saddened by John's passing. I am greatful that I had the chance to see you and John together in Vegas and share that special time with both of you.
I first met John at UConn when he was so fun-loving, escorting Joani in his shiny, red sports car! I will
always remember his soft smile and how he beamed when he was near his Joani.
George and I extend our deepest sympathy and prayers and feel your terrible loss.
Much love, Diane & George Lewis

Joani, Julienne, Justin & Families,
Please accept my deepest, heartfelt sympathy for your tragic loss. I’ve known John since our college days, when he started dating my best friend. I was happy to be part of that special day when they were married, and have shared their joy over the years when Julienne and Justin were born. We started families, had careers, laughed through good times, and cried during bad times, on separate coasts, and with a continent separating us. But somehow we managed to remain the closest of friends.
Recently, John, Joani, Larry and I were able to meet in Las Vegas and spend some time together. Than God for that! I will always remember John smiling and chatting----so vital, so full of life! I feel like one of the many “doors” in my life has closed forever.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad time. Know that we
are thinking of you with love, and sharing in your loss.
