Randolph Armando Contreras of Oxnard passed away peacefully in his sleep on Dec. 6, 2010. Many knew him as Cordie, he served his country and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Randolph had a very good sense of humor and liked telling jokes and hanging out at the Oxnard Wilson Center with his friends. He also liked going to the Oxnard Public Library where he would read books for hours. He loved watching old movies at home and most of all going to have lunch on Friday's with his God daughter, Patricia Guerra.
He is preceded in death by his father, Catalino Contreras; mother Amparo Brown Contreras; brother, Gilbert Contreras and Alfred Contreras.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Ramirez and grandchildren from Chatsworth; sister, Susie Contreras from San Jose; brother, Romie Contreras of Oxnard; grandchildren, Emilio, Elva, Manuel, Jackie, and Crystal; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Roze Room Hospice of Ventura County and Glenwood Care Center for their help and support. May God bless you Nino! Thank you for being a part of my life and may you rest in peace always. Love! Your God daughter, Patricia Guerra.

To Patsy and all the Contreras Family prayers and thoughts are with you. We were not as close to Uncle Gordie as you were but we feel the pain and sorrow. He can now join our Dad Alfred as they are both together along with Our Grandpa and Grandma and also with Uncle Gilbert. May the angels be with them.
