Mrs Radford, Frances, Patrick & Tiffany, I am sorry to read of your loss of Steve last week. Please know that others like me are sharing in your sadness. I was one of Stephen's teachers at Rio Mesa High School. I enjoyed him. What an avid reader he was, even in high school. I had run in to Stephen in stores and around town a few times over the years, but I am really very pleased that just within the past year we met and talked for a long time at the local Barnes & Nobles bookstore.
Ever personable, and an excellent conversationalist, he was always more than capable of holding up his side of any conversation. Stephen also had a terrific memory for people and events.
Yes, he was surely a very intelligent, very personable man. I am sad to read of your loss.
I will look to speak with you after his service at 3:00 on Friday.
Sincerely, Michael Johnston
