Teresa Sanchez Luna, age 82, of Oxnard passed away on Christmas Day with her loving family by her side.
Teresa was born on Oct. 28, 1928 in Plan Grande Jalisco, Mexico to Abraham and Felix Sanchez. She was a residence of Ventura County for over 61 years.
She is survived by her husband, Enrique F. Luna, and three daughters, Rosa (David) Magallanes, Esther (Robert) Luna, Alice (Frank) Martinez; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ruben Sanchez and Javier Sanchez; sisters, Aurora Brambila, Cruz Sanchez, Sara Flores and Maria Connelly.
She was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister. She will be loved and deeply missed by all. We deeply appreciate all the care and support given by Hospice.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at the Garcia Mortuary Chapel in Oxnard. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Oxnard. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery in Oxnard. I use to live on F street when I was a little girl I'd go to her house and she would always have some frozen yogurt to share with me I loved her like if she was my grandma I moved to Texas and only saw her once after that
