Bonnie Innes Wiley, 80, passed on Friday, Nov. 12 In Oxnard. She was born on Oct. 12, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Through the years she worked as a newspaper reporter and legal secretary, and settled in Thousand Oaks for nearly 30 years earning an Associate of Arts degree from Moorpark College. Bonnie was victorious in life, an inspiration to many and a generous friend to all before, and during her retirement to Granite Shoals, Texas to spend time with family and friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Burton Wiley, and son, Barry Wiley, and is survived by her son, Stephen Wiley, and sister, Elizabeth Gentry.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5 at Old Meadows Community Center, 1600 Marview Drive, Thousand Oaks. Any contributions should be made in Bonnie Wiley's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 80 North Wood Road, Suite 302, Camarillo, CA 93010. Arrangements were made with the assistance of Griffin Family Funeral Chapels, Thousand Oaks, 230-2800.
