Nellie Aileen Butler, 93, passed away on Nov. 16, 2010 at the Los Robles Care Center in Ojai after a brief illness.
She was born in Texas on March 1, 1917. At an early age she moved to Oklahoma. She married Raymond Butler in 1938 and they moved to Ventura in 1942. She enjoyed camping, fishing and playing cards.
Aileen was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Butler and wife Shirley of Stockton, Arnold Butler and wife Mary of Ventura, Howard Butler and wife Sharyn of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Ricky Butler and wife Gwen of Paso Robles; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19 with funeral services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, both at Charles Carroll Funeral Home, 15 Teloma Dr., Ventura, 642-8134. Interment will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Nellie Aileen Butler.

A special note to all the Bulter clan. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you, as you lay to rest, the matriarch of the family. She was a wonderful lady and loved by all. God Bless each of you.
