Andrea Sevilla Obituary
Andrea was born in Oxnard on July 22, 1965 to Wayola B. (Richardson) Mitchell and George Ramos Sevilla. She was a loving, beautiful person with an outgoing personality.
Andrea's love of her life were her two children, Jeremy Russell, age 22, and Jazmine Russell, age 20. Andrea was a lifelong resident of Oxnard. She attended and graduated from Channel Islands High School and later continued her education at Oxnard College, where she received her degree in early childhood education. Andrea also had a love and passion for fashion and hair design. She received her cosmetology license immediately after high school. She then began a career as a professional hair design artist. She loved life and was a joy to be around. For the past ten years she was a self-employed private caregiver. Andrea made her commitment to the Lord at an early age and was a gospel singer just for the love of it. We all know that for those whom she loved there were no limits. She was always there as a friend, companion and mediator.
Our angel, Andrea, has been called home to be with the Lord. We will all miss her dearly but she will live on in our hearts forever, especially Jeremy (son), Jazmine (daughter), Wayola Mitchell (mother), J.W. Mitchell (stepfather), V.J. and Celestine Nickleberry (grandparents), Renomia and Bobby Pleasant (Godparents), Dante Mitchell (brother), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and numerous relatives and friends. Andrea's love for life and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
A Homegoing service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Morning Star Church of God in Christ, 427 North Harrison Avenue, Oxnard.

Andrea: I will always cherish your beautiful smile. It seems like only yesterday day you and my sisters where running around Trinity and sneaking out of service. Aunt Nellie would come and get you all! Wayola, you know we love you and share your lost. Remember God is good all the time and all time God is good. You could sing it best "The Lord is blessing me right Now!" Be encouraged my sister whatever betydes you God will take care of you.

Andrea - we will all miss you. We had a beautiful childhood and the memories we shared will be in our hearts and mind forever! Wayola - you are one of my favorite people of ALL TIME and I miss you very much. I will miss Andrea dearly. Even though we had lost contact as adults, we were friends in high school. We had good times together, travelling to LA and other places as a group of curious young ladies. May God bless the family and keep her memories alive in your hearts.

To the family,
Some place within our youth we loose sight of the people and things which were so important to us a children. My heart was over-whelmed with saddness learning of the passing of my friend & sister Andrea who helped me thru some very trying times. As teens we were happy carefree young ladies and we shared so much. As adults our lives would take us in different directions and a great deal of miles, but the love never change with each visit I made to Oxnard it was always important to seek my girl out. Andrea could sing, do some hair but she could cook! I recall making my very first Thanks-giving dinner and with her help it was a success as she shared some of her mothers cooking secrets (they are safe with me)I still use till this day. I am only lost for words but will give God the glory as only he will provide the family with his peace and send his comforting angle. I will miss Andrea and more importanly keep you guys in prayer! Always know that God saw the best in her!
