Antonio Polo Obituary
Antonio Tony Orta Polo passed away into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 30, 2010.
Tony was longtime resident of Oxnard. Born in Morelia, Michoacan Mexico to Antonio Polo and Eugenia Orta Polo on March 21, 1959. Tony attended Curren Elementary, Haydock Junior High and Oxnard High School. Growing up, Tony was well known as a boxer and boxing fan. He worked out at local gyms and had often boxed at local events. As an adult Tony accelerated as a custom car painter.
Tony was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, godfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Tony always considered himself to be blessed to have a loving family and was close to his children. He is survived by his mother, Eugenia Polo; sisters, Martha and Gina polo; brothers, Alex and Martin Polo; his children, Little Tony, Regina, Michael and his little princess Jasmin Polo, Ronnie Apodaca and Raymond Barrera. Tony was especially proud of his grandchildren, Steven Jr., Andrew, Michael Jr., Majesta Bell, Dejaih, Adam, Josiah, Celest and unborn Baby Johnny. Tony was proceeded in death by his father, Antonio Polo.
Tony will always be remembered for his love and caring personality and the kind and big hearted person he was. He lived everyday as it was his last and never worried about what others thought of him. He lived by the saying I am who I am and stuck by it. He will always be remembered as a Jokester the life of the party with his overwhelming sense of humor and his contagious laughter. On behalf of our father we would like to send a special thank you to one of his closest friends, Mike Soto, for all his love and support which is greatly appreciated. As our dad would say thats my true homie. Thank you.
Visitation is planned from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, at First Assembly of God, 523 N. Fifth St., Port Hueneme. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, at Perez Funeral Home, 1347 Del Norte Rd., Camarillo, with burial to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery, Oxnard. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Perez Funeral Home. Assisting the family with funeral arrangements is the Perez Family Funeral Home in Camarillo, 983-3457. Tony was a classmate at Haydock Jr High and Oxnard High and I have not seen Tony since that time, however, I remember the friends and fun we had in school and have never forgotten all of you. It brings great sadness to hear that a good friend of our has passed away, Tony was a dear friend back in the days of Oxnard High School. I will always remember those fond memories that we all shared together as good friends. I have not seen Tony in yrs, but to his family may God Bless you all of you at this time of sadness.

Tony, you will be greatly missed. I know how much your son Mike is going to miss those random phone calls just to say a simple hello. Thank you for all the smiles you kept on our faces.
