Celeste Faith Emerson passed away at her home in Camarillo on Oct. 6, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 30, 1945 in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Evert and Victoria Curtis.
She is survived by her daughter, Luanne Emerson of Ojai; sons, Mark Emerson, Sr. and Keith Emerson of Camarillo; daughter-in-law, Christina Emerson of Camarillo; grandchildren, Angela and Mark Emerson; father, Evert Curtis, Sr. of Oxnard; brother, Evert Curtis, Jr. of Somis; sister, Beverly Moodie of Hawaii; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her late mother, Victoria Martin Curtis.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Oct. 18 at St. Anthony's Church, 2511 South C St., Oxnard, CA 93033. Assisting the family is Perez Family Funeral Home, 983-3457. Please sign our guest book at www.camarillomortuary.com.

My prayers are with you in this difficult time and may GOd continue to give you the strength you need. Celeste was such a strong woman and the rock of the family. KNow that she is now resting in peace no longer in pain and watching over all of you. She will always continue to be your rock.
