Dennis died unexpectedly at his home on Nov. 10, 2010.
Dennis proudly served his country in the USAF 1965-1974. Then he returned home to work for the family business, Van Petty Mfg., for over 30 years. Dennis will be deeply missed by his family and friends and will be remembered for his generosity and warm heart.
He is survived by his children: sons, Dennis Britt Petty (Deanna) and Todd Petty (Shauna), and his daughter, Amanda Wojtalewicz (Phil); grandchildren, Hanna, Sarah, Dennis Jacob, Rachel and Leah, Chantel, Calista, Tanner and Cambria, Jack and Jason; siblings, David Petty, Kay Riazzi and Donna Hall; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dennis will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery on Friday, Nov. 19th at 11 a.m.

Dennis; Being in San Diego I just found out about your passing. It sucks that I've know you for 20 plus years and I find out to late that you passed. Well it has been a great 20 years.
