Donald D. Bunch was born in Jefferson City, Mo., on March 8, 1932 and passed away Sept. 12, 2010 in his Lazy Boy chair watching golf, his passion. He was a rules official for college golf until a mini-stroke in 2000.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marlene Bunch. Donald was a man of honor and served in the Military Police in the Army during the Korean War. He leaves five sons, Scott Bunch, wife Jennifer, granddaughters Caitlan and Courtney Bunch; Kirk Myers; Mitchell Myers and wife Cynthia, step-grandsons Matthew and Jeffrey Hudleson; Jeffrey Myers and wife Katherine and grandsons, Justin Myers and wife Shaylene, and Trevor Myers. From his first marriage he leaves a son, Richard Bunch, and grandchildren, Gabrielle and Jason.
Donald worked in management for Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank for 39 years. He took early retirement for health reasons and golf!
A celebration of his life was held at the Rose Family Funeral Home on Sept. 17, 2010. He will be truly missed by family and friends.
