Born Oct. 16, 1925, passed away June 13, 2011.
Elizabeth was born and raised in Los Angeles, graduating from Los Angeles High School class of 1944. She moved to Ventura County with her husband, Harold Derr, in 1960. Elizabeth was proud to be a 67-year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by son, John Mielke and wife Susan, of Eugene, Ore.; daughter, Sue Derr and partner Margie Hobbie, of Laguna Beach. The family wishes to thank all who cared for Elizabeth in her final years.
Services and burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 17, at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park.

Sue, I appreciate your contacting me when your Mom moved to Shoreline. I was able to visit her a couple of times. When I delivered her groceries, as part of the Shop Ahoy program, we used to share fun stories about our pets. I will miss her.
