Evaliene Harris Obituary

Dec. 16, 1943 - Oct. 8, 2010

In fond farewell and loving memory of Evaliene Harris Lil Tookie, US Army Veteran, nurses aide, homemaker, we miss and love you. May you now know the rest and peace you sought in your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Throughout your life you blessed and touched the lives of all whom you came in contact, as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all, you shared your love with others. No matter the struggles you encountered and the pain you endured during your 40 plus year battle with Crohns disease, you never faltered in your love and care of others, while you continued to grow in your faith. You were a living doll sent from God, the essence of an angel.

May we continue to reflect on your many accomplishments and uncommon strength and love. Your will power and faith defeated struggles most of us will never know in our life. This is your victory...You won against all odds. And your light will never be gone. You finished the race and are in the presence of your Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 16, at Cornerstone Community Church in Simi Valley located at 2080 Winifred St., Simi Valley, CA 93063-2933. The office number is 581-9532.

Assisting the family with arrangements is the family owned and operated Rose Family Funeral Home and Cremation of Simi Valley, Our Family Helping Yours; 581-3800.
