It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010.
George was born Sept. 13, 1916 in Chicago, Ill., the son of George F. and Anna Fritz and has lived in Leisure Village, Camarillo for 32 years.
He was retired from Glidden Paint Co. after 43 years. He is an Army veteran of WWII having served in the European Theater of Operations.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Maxine; daughters, Susan Jacobs, Danville, Ill., G. Anne Singer, Newbury Park; son, Dr. Ronald Fritz, North East, Md.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mildred Kamprath; and grandson, Randall Singer.
Services will be private.
